AFDD tester

AFDD tester

Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD) devices are designed to detect the occurrence of an arc in an electrical installation. AFDD is an electromechanical switching device with electronic circuitry that monitors the nature of the current drawn. Sparking has a specific current waveform to which this instrument responds and disconnects the installation with a malfunction.
